The THS Concert Choir, Concert Band, and Jazz Band each prepared a set of very
challenging music to perform in front of a three judge panel. Each of those groups

Message from Jake Whetsell of the Christian County CEO Program:
This is Jake Whetsell with the Christian County CEO Program and I am also a senior at THS. Our CEO class is holding a murder mystery dinner and silent auction this Saturday, April 13th, with the show beginning at 7 pm. We have sold out of in-person tickets but we decided to have a livestream of the event. We are selling virtual tickets for $25 to join the livestream and enjoy the show. On the livestream, attendees will be able to submit their guess or bid in the comment section. The link would open at 6:30 and the show would begin at 7. I have included the link to sign up for the livestream at the bottom of this email. We hope to have your support and to see on the stream this Saturday to experience our production.

The Taylorville Police Department and Christian County Sheriff made us aware of an incident they were investigating involving weapons possessed by a person outside of school, which also resulted in the recovery of a look-alike weapon “BB Gun” located at school. They have assured us that at no time are they aware our students or staff were ever in danger. We are grateful for their thorough and rapid response and for keeping us apprised as the investigation unfolded. Please don’t be alarmed by the additional visibility of officers in the area over the next couple of days as we have asked police to be more visible in and around the school.
